Kelly and Drew's Wedding

Kelly and Drew were married a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful and timeless Armour House in Lake Forest. I absolutely love photographing at this venue.  I always feel like I've traveled to Europe when I'm there. I was a little jealous of Drew's suit and Kelly looked absolutely stunning! Brittany and Ryan's Wedding

Brittany and Ryan were married a couple of weeks ago at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee and their reception was held next to the beautiful Kankakee River at the Elks Country Club in St. Anne.  So much thought was put into every detail at this intimate wedding. One of Brittany's friends did her make-up and another friend handmade her dress.  I witnessed one of the sweetest ceremonies and first dances that I've ever seen at this wedding (Oh, and confetti canons and a ukulele!). Jaclyn and Kyle's Wedding

Jaclyn and Kyle were married a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Madonna Della Strada Chapel at Loyola University in Chicago.  Madonna Della Strada is definitely a grand place to get married if you are having a church wedding!  After the ceremony we did a few indoor portraits at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Thank you to Jaclyn, Kyle and the bridal party for braving the wetness to get some amazing shots. After that we went to their reception site that was held at the James hotel downtown. This couple has a terrific sense of style and I loved all the details of their wedding! -Jake

Jean and Robert's Engagement Session

I met up with Jean and Robert on a crisp but sunny spring day in Chicago for their engagement session.  We started at the Nature Boardwalk in Lincoln Park and then hit up a few spots downtown.  I'm so excited to photograph them on their wedding day in June! -Jake
