Happy early winter! And with all this lovely snow I bring to you some photos from Carey and Brian’s wedding I photographed last week! They got married at the Dupage County Courthouse followed by a luncheon reception at Maize and Mash downtown Glen Ellyn. Carey and Brian braved the cold weather for some portraits across the street in an alley and we had so much fun. Thank you and congratulations to Carey and Brian!! -Jake
Sarah and Jovanny’s autumn garden wedding took place a couple of weekends ago at the beautiful Wilder Park in Elmhurst. They did a first look and portraits at the mansion before their intimate outdoor ceremony in the formal gardens. Their reception took place at Clara’s Restaurant in Woodridge. I had such a great time capturing their event and can’t wait to share all their photos from their wedding day! -Jake
I photographed Madison and Allison’s wedding a couple of weeks ago in Plano, IL at a beautiful historic venue called Homestead 1854. It was a quiet and lovely fall day and their outdoor ceremony took place in front a garden maze with a backdrop of fall foliage. I couldn’t help but notice all the little details that Madison and Allison created including their homemade cold brew unity coffee and that they made their bouquets for each other. Their reception was held on site next to the mansion and their dance floor was nestled among the pine trees. I am so excited to share these photos and feel so honored to be able to capture the love that Madison and Allison share with each other. Congratulations!! -Jake
Jennifer and Ryan got married a couple of weeks ago in Peoria, IL surrounded by nature at the gorgeous Luthy Botanical Garden. After their sweet and simple outdoor wedding ceremony we walked around the gardens taking a bunch of portraits. I love all the ideas that they and their kids had for different poses and we had a lot of fun with it. I can’t wait to share all of the photos. Enjoy!! -Jake
I had the honor of photographing Juniper and Reese’s wedding a couple of weeks ago at the fabulous Herrington Inn in Geneva, IL. I loved all the bright and colorful flowers, the custom flower embroidery on Juniper’s dress, and that they made and decorated their own cake. They had a sweet outdoor ceremony in the courtyard at the Herrington Inn immediately followed by cocktails and dinner. It was so much fun being a part of Juniper and Reese’s wedding.
