Sarah and David's Wedding

Sarah and David's beach wedding at the Gary Aquatorium was so much fun to photograph! Sarah and David were really easy to work with, and their adorable son was a blast! I also loved being able to work with Tasha Raylene of Virtuous Events once again. Tasha did an incredible job designing every detail of their day and everything was very well pulled together! It made my job easy-peasy! Here are some of my favorite images from David and Sarah's big day:

Bo and Megan's Wedding in Analog

A few weeks ago I had the honor of being a groomsman in my cousin Bo's wedding. I made my way up to Minnesota and brought 7, read it, SEVEN antique and toy film cameras! I had a lot of fun being IN a wedding party for a change, and it delighted my purist's heart to shoot only in film for the duration of the weekend.

Elise's Senior Photo Sneak Peek

Here is a quick Sneak Peek from Elise's Senior Photo Session this evening. We don't do many Senior Sessions and it's fun to break out of the norm every once in a while! Elise was really fun and easy to work with, and as an added bonus, we had really great light toward the end of our shoot! Here is one of my favorite shots:

Brooke and Josh's Wedding

Brooke and Josh were married a few weekends ago. The morning started off a bit foggy, but cleared up to give them an absolutely perfect wedding day! We started our day at the Sutton Hotel in Chicago for a few getting ready shots of Brooke and her bridesmaids. We then made our way to the South Shore Cultural Center which, incidentally, was the venue for the Obama's wedding reception. Brooke and Josh's Jewish Ceremony was held in the Solarium. It made for a gorgeous setting! I loved photographing in this space with its checkered tiling, the amazing chandeliers and the abundance of beautiful natural light! I could have shot there all day! Of course, they were only a few steps away from Lake Michigan, so we made sure to grab a few shots at the beach before the day was through.

Josh and Brooke were such a fun, easy going couple. I had a lot of fun working with them on their day. Please enjoy a few of our favorite shots from their wedding.

Anna and Greg's Wedding

Brace yourselves for an outstandingly beautiful wedding (and many, many photos)! Anna and Greg were married this past weekend, and we were honored to be a part of their day. When we met them for the first time, we knew this was going to be a spectacular wedding - and we were thrilled when they decided we were a perfect fit for their day. We were correct about their wedding being spectacular, by the way, every gorgeous detail was well thought out, and the day flew by!

We hired our good friend, Nicholas Holstein - who is a local photojournalist - as an extra set of eyes for this wedding. We are so glad we did - his contribution to this wedding was priceless. We are absolutely blown away by his images and the extra viewpoint he provided.

Anna and Greg were married at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Chicago, and held their reception at the Congress Plaza Hotel on Michigan Avenue. We started the day out at the Hotel and then went to a few sites around the city including the Art Institute and the Cancer Survivor Park.

The day ran smoothly and without any noticeable hitches, Anna and Greg were so laid back and easy to work with -- it was an absolute pleasure to be with them every step of the way.
