A blog of our current photography work.

Rachael and Mike

Rachael and Mike got married a couple of weeks ago at St. Chrysostom’s Church in Chicago. One great thing about church weddings in Chicago is that they are all gorgeous old buildings with interesting architecture and character. St. Chrysostom’s fits that description! Before their sweet ceremony we went around the city to do some portraits with the bridal party. We started at Newberry Library/Washington park, then over to North Ave beach for a few skyline shots, and finished up at the Chicago History Museum steps. Their reception was held at one of my favorite venues in Chicago: Galleria Marchetti. Everything went smoothly and I had such a pleasure being a part of Rachael and Mike’s wedding. Thank you to Nicholas Holstein for helping me as second photographer for the day!

Natalie and Ryan

Natalie and Ryan got married a couple of weeks ago at one of our favorite Chicago wedding venues, Salvage One.  It's a cool place to shop at but it's even cooler to have your wedding at!  Their day started with a few getting ready shots and some portraits at a place called Publishing House Bed and Breakfast. From there we went over to Salvage One to finish up our portraits before their indoor ceremony. We absolutely love all the mismatched pews and chandeliers that make up the ceremony space not to mention the giant elephant statues flanking the aisle.  After the ceremony Natalie and Ryan's bulldog Bodie made an appearance and stole the show for a bit.  It was such a good day and I loved being a part of their wedding.  Every detail was flawlessly coordinated by Kim Gapinski of Bride +Joy Events. She's amazing and if you are needing a coordinator you should check out her website!

Shannon and John

Shannon and John got married a couple of weeks ago at Ovation in Chicago. Ovation was an old foundry that's been turned into an industrial loft space. Needless to say it's a really cool place to have a wedding!  Shannon and John were an awesome couple to work with and I enjoyed spending the day with them and going to all sorts of different locations around Chicago before their ceremony. Here's a few of my favorite photos from their day!

Francesca and Danny

Francesca and Danny were married at Ravisloe Country Club in one of the sweetest outdoor ceremonies on one of the warmest days of the year.

These two were so great to work with, and their bridal party was a lot of fun!  The expansive venue offered plenty of shade and beautiful indoor spaces to shoot in.  We loved the attention to detail and thought that was put into every aspect of their day.

Francesca and Danny, thank you for having us be a part of your beautiful wedding!

Morgan and Tim

Morgan and Tim are celebrating their first anniversary, so we are excited to share a few images from their wedding day last year!

These two had such a beautiful day, and we were thrilled to work with some of our favorite vendors who worked together to make their wedding so incredible!

Being able to capture amazing weddings with such wonderful people is such a gift.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your day, Morgan and Tim.
