Amanda and Bryan

I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Bryan’s wedding a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Ridge Hotel in Lake Geneva. The ceremony was held on the patio just outside of the hotel and it was officiated by the bride’s brothers and they were cracking everybody up. It was such a lighthearted ceremony and they made the event feel full of love. Congrats to Amanda and Bryan and a special thanks to their bridal party for making it down to the lake on a blazing hot day for portraits. It was well worth it!

Trisha and Martin

Trisha and Martin celebrated their marriage a few weeks ago in Oswego, IL at the amazingly rustic Emerson Creek. It was such a beautiful summer June day and the sun lit up Trisha and Martin’s faces as we did portraits around the property. They had a short but sweet ceremony with the corn fields as a backdrop. I had so much fun being a part of their celebration and wish them congratulations!!

Schmelka Family

After a couple of rescheduled times due to weather I had a break and was able to do portraits for the Schmelka family the other day at Fullersburg woods. I had a blast photographing this family (and their dog) and am happy to post a few of my favorites from their session. Enjoy!

Mulcahy Family

I did photos for the Mulcahy family at their home a little over a week ago. They braved the hot summer day in their backyard. The kids were such troopers and gave me lots of smiles throughout the whole session. Here’s a little preview from our summer family photo shoot together!

Kathryn and Nick

Kathryn and Nick got married a couple of weeks ago in Lombard at the amazing Harry Caray’s restaurant. They had their ceremony and reception at the same place which makes things so easy. The day started with some getting ready shots at Kathryn’s parents house and then I took Kathryn and her bridesmaids downtown Downers Grove for some urban alley photos. Then I met Nick and his groomsmen for a few photos outside on the patio at Harry Caray's. After their sweet indoor ceremony we took a quick trip to Lyman Woods for some bridal party shots in the forest. Kathryn and Nick are such a fun couple and I was laughing along with them all day. This date was their second time rescheduling and their cake topper said it all: “About damn time”. Thanks Kathryn and Nick for having me capture your wedding day!!
