Journal

A blog of our current photography work.

Gullotto Family

A few years ago I photographed Audrey and Kyle’s wedding and the other week they asked me to do their family portraits! It was pretty cold out so we did the majority of the photos inside their home. At the end of the session we braved the weather and finished up outside for some fall color. Thank you Audrey and Kyle for having me take your family portraits!

Pignato Family

I met up with the Pignato family a couple of weeks ago for some fall family portraits at McKinley Woods in Channahon, IL. We were expecting the cold and chilly air of October but it turned out to be 80 degrees out, crazy! I had a wonderful time capturing them and their kids had a blast playing in the leaves. Here’s a few of my favorites from their session.

Zieserl Family

The other week I did some portraits for the Zieserl family. It was a bit cold that day but they were troopers and the sun was shining nice and bright for us! They wanted the focus of these photos to be of their cute little girl and her grandparents. You could just tell they had so much love for their granddaughter!

Cronk Family

We love the Cronk family! I photographed Lauren and Dave’s wedding early in my photography career and I’ve done many family sessions with them over the years. Every time I do more photos with them it gets better! A huge thanks to Lauren and Dave for having me capture their family each year!

Learned Family

The first couple of sessions I did with the Learned family were either super cold or really wet and when it started raining right before our session the other week we almost called it off! I’m so happy we didn’t because as soon as we got to the park the sun came out and became the perfect sunny fall day! The funny thing is that right after we finished the clouds and wind came back. I have a feeling the Learned family willed it to become nice just for their session. It was an absolute pleasure photographing them as they were full of love and laughter!
