Jayme and Jon's Wedding
The last weekend of April was slated to be wicked stormy. But, as Jen and I headed down to St.Louis for our friends', Jayme and Jon's wedding, we were delighted to find that the rain held off! They had an incredibly beautiful day, and we were able to go to several locations for portraits after their ceremony. We were even able to get some photos with their adorable rescued "boys", Harry and Bean :)
We had a blast hanging with Jayme and Jon all day long, and all the sites they brought us to were beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better day, or be happier for the two of them!

Allison and Doug's Engagement
Now that it's springtime I've been doing a heck of a lot more portrait sessions. Here are some photos of one of the first engagement sessions I've done this spring so far. And honestly I've been extremely lucky to be scheduling these sessions on the nicer days! Anyways, Doug and Allison are getting married in Florida this fall but wanted to get Illinois in somehow. So we walked around Lincoln Park and the lake front in Chicago taking their engagement portraits. I cannot wait to be on the beach photographing their wedding!
Colleen and Dan's Wedding
I know it's overdone, but I have to say it -- We are so fortunate to be able to do what we love everyday and to make our living spending time with amazing people! Colleen and Dan were so fun to work with! Their laid back personalities and intense love for each other made for a great day of 'work'. These two had a beautiful April day for their wedding, and it was an absolute pleasure to be such an integral part of their day.
On top of having Colleen and Dan as my amazing clients, I had the pleasure of photographing with Ryan, of Ryan Timm Photography. I am always pumped when Ryan and I have the opportunity to shoot together at my weddings and look forward to more collaborations.
