Jackie, one of the owners of the interior design store Brandys and Bourg, needed portraits for their new website. We used their recently opened store for some environmental portraits. If you ever need some new interior designing I suggest checking them out. Their store is located in Burr Ridge, IL. Here are a few of the portraits from our session:

LeRoy Family Photos
We take alot of family photos of our friends the LeRoy's. Jen usually does these but Graysen and I came along one time during the fall and I shot a few on B+W film. We love this family!

Here's Jen and our intern at work:

Natalia and Steven's February Wedding
A couple of weekends ago I photographed the marriage of Natalia and Steven. Their wedding was at this really cool old Navy Chapel called Schram Memorial Chapel in Glenview, IL. This chapel let in so much natural light! Natalia and Steven even braved the chilly February weather for a ton of portraits outside. After the portrait session we made our way to the reception which was at the Naval Base at Great Lakes. I shot their wedding with a little a digital and a little of my analog cameras (the Hasselblad, Valiant, B+W instant film, Contax G1, and the Nikon FM3a). I had a great time at their wedding. Check out some (alot!) of my favorites from their day:

Joanne and Nate's Engagement Session
The weather was kind of like today (i think it was like -20 degrees) but we still did our engagement session in Chicago! Only we started indoors at the Garfield Conservatory, haha! It was so hot in there my lenses fogged up and I had to wait until they adjusted to the humidity. Seriously, it was like being in a jungle. But anyways, Joanne and Nate are so in love and it was wonderful capturing a few shots of them together. Im glad they chose to brave the cold weather for a few shots, too. Granted we didn't last very long out there but I really like those photos. Enjoy these shots from their session!!

Emily and Paul
About two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Paul's January wedding. They got ready at the Hyatt Lisle and were married in the Ginkgo Room at the Morton Arboretum. They had such a beautiful wedding and all of their details were handmade. Paul designed all of the table settings and Emily made her bouquet out of different brooches. I had a wonderful time spending my day with them and I appreciate their willingness to be outside in the freezing cold! There were so many photos that I wanted to show but here are some of my favorites:
