Eve and Patrick

On a quiet and serene afternoon in Chicago, Eve and Patrick said their vows in the company of their parents and nature at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. I felt so blessed to have been a part of their intimate ceremony and to capture the love that they share at one of my favorite settings in Chicago. After their ceremony, we continued on for some portraits at the nature boardwalk just down the street. Congratulations to Eve and Patrick!! Enjoy the photos!! - Jake

Elizabeth and Dewey

I photographed Elizabeth and Dewey’s Chicago wedding on a beautiful September Saturday. We started the day with some getting ready shots at the hotel followed by a private first look and vows before a ton of wedding party photos downtown Chicago. We hit up spots like the LaSalle Street Bridge, Chicago Board of Trade, and Olive Park which are some of my favorites! Their ceremony and reception was held at the fabulous Beatnik Restaurant in West Town. I had such an amazing time with Elizabeth and Dewey and photograph all their love between each other and amongst their family and friends. Congratulations Elizabeth and Dewey!! -Jake

Megan and Joe

Megan and Joe had a beautiful July day to have their wedding ceremony at Fishermen’s Inn in Elburn, IL. It was such an honor to be a part of their celebration and to capture their love for each other. Here’s a few of my favorite moments from their day: how excited Megan’s dad was during their first look, Megan and Joe’s private vow exchange before the ceremony, evening portraits at Fishermen’s Inn as the sun was going down, and Megan’s energetic entrance to the dance floor. Shout out to Megan’s maid of honor Erin for helping me to organize all the photos before the ceremony. :) Thank you Megan and Joe for having me be your photographer. Enjoy the photos!! Jake

Julie and David

Julie and David got married a couple of weeks ago at the picture-perfect Ashley Farm in Oswego. I love a good farm wedding, and this spot is truly something special!

We started with a first look at the homestead, then wandered the grounds for portraits with their wedding party. One of my favorite moments? They brought their pugs along for some photos—and yes, they were dressed for the occasion!

A few other highlights from their day:
• The dogs’ adorable wedding attire
• Julie’s playful spirit throughout the day
• David’s bold red carnation at the reception
• Julie’s grandma as the flower girl
• The ring bearer cruising down the aisle in a tiny car
• And the rain? It didn’t dampen the joy one bit

Enjoy these moments from their beautiful day.
Big congratulations to Julie and David!

Michelle and Scott

Michelle and Scott were married a couple of weeks ago, surrounded by nature, loved ones, and the beauty of Lake Katherine in Palos Heights, IL. The weather was perfect, and everything felt still and peaceful. During their ceremony beneath the trees, the nearby waterfall seemed to embrace their love.

It was an honor and a blessing to be part of their day and to capture their memories through my lens.

Congratulations, Michelle and Scott!
