Here’s a preview from my wedding session with Tracy and Jon the other week! They had me come take pictures for their wedding at the Dupage County Courthouse followed by portraits at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois. I loved all of the ideas they had for photos and that everyone was having fun and getting into it. I had a blast photographing Tracy, Jon and their family. Enjoy the photos! -Jake
Lindsay and Jordan got married a few weeks ago on a beautiful (and slightly rainy) August Saturday. Their ceremony and reception took place in their backyard and I had absolutely great time spending the afternoon capturing their event. Some of the highlights are the millions of rose petals on the aisle, the cocktail bar in the front yard for the guests upon arrival, and the wood fired pizza for dinner. It’s always such a blessing to see two people in love get married and to be able to celebrate them with creating photos. Thank you, Lindsay and Jordan, for having me be a part of your wedding! - Jake

Congrats to Ellena and Alex who got married the other week at Mayslake Peabody Estate in the beautiful Portiuncula chapel. I was with them for just a short time that day but we had an absolute blast. I love it when I get to work with my couples in creating some really fun and unique images. Bonus for all of the laughter as well! Thank you Ellena and Alex for having me be a part of your wedding! -Jake
What a gorgeous August wedding day Staci and Patrick had at the Morton Arboretum the other week! It was sunny and beautiful and they had the perfect setting at the Grand Garden for their ceremony. The day was full of laughter and joy and fun and I am so grateful that Staci and Patrick chose me to photograph their day. Capturing these important moments of people in love joining their lives fills my heart and I love every bit of it. One of my favorite moments from this wedding is Staci and Patrick walking down the aisle and all the guests tossing dried flower petals at them. They were beaming!!

Props to Ashley Printz of Effortless Events for coordinating another flawless wedding. If anybody is looking for an officiant I highly recommend Anne Styx of Rev for Whatev. The other week I met up with Olga and Jim at the Dupage County Courthouse for their wedding ceremony with their immediate family. It was a quick ceremony but lovely and meaningful all the same! We headed out to do some portraits right afterwards in the beautiful gardens at Cantigny Park followed by a dinner reception at Cadence in Downtown Downers Grove. I had such a fun time with Olga and Jim and I wish them many, many blessings for their marriage together. Thank you Olga and Jim for having me be a part of your wedding! -Jake
