Dan and Julia had a perfect evening for their Engagement Session in Chicago a few weeks ago! We decided to start the shoot at the 4th Presbyterian Church, which is where Dan popped the big question. From there we jumped over to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company which is one of Julia's favorite local places (she's a girl after my own heart), and then we finished up with some skyline shots at North Avenue Beach.
Aren't they just the sweetest?
This wedding was so refreshing to shoot! Set at Mon Ami Gabi, Jerry and Sinda's wedding was bursting with intimate moments surrounded by an inspired, lovely low-key atmosphere.
Jerry and Sinda hired the amazingly talented Kim Gapinski to work with them on their day, and she did a great job pulling everything together. The day ran seamlessly and we were all so happy to have their beautiful ceremony outside as planned.
Sinda's dress was absolutely breathtaking, and I have to admit that it definitely ranks in the list of our top 5 favorite gowns. These two couldn't have been more sweet, it was an incredible day for two wonderful people.

Aren't Alex and Kilene just the sweetest couple? Their Engagement Session at the Morton Arboretum was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer day to shoot. Alex and Kilene's adorable sense of style, and easy laid-back kind of love made them a joy to work with and we can't wait to be a part of their wedding next year! We just adore this sweet, rustic-inspired wedding set at The Ellis House in Minooka, IL. Rachel and Robert were so much fun to work with, and are so obviously head over heels for each other. They were a joy to be around all day, and we couldn't be happier for the two of them! We just love their color choices, and the fact that all the girls wore cowboy boots with their beautiful dresses! Also, can you believe those little flower girls? Too cute for words.
Their reception at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club was filled to the brim with personal details. We loved their "Table Letters" and all the unique centerpieces. We were also blown away by Rachel and Robert's first dance. It was incredible!

Scott and Mary had an adorable wedding at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club which, coincidentally, is where we were married just over 8 years ago! Mary's dress was simply amazing, and we love that Scott wore a pair of Chucks (same as Jake on our wedding day)! We truly loved their simple, thoughtful details, their soft color palette and the way everything pulled together.
